Kate Bell is the Head of the Rights, International, Social and Economics department. The Department leads the TUC's work on boosting employment rights, promoting social and economic policies that benefit working people, and building international solidarity.

The TUC’s urgent call for a government task group to protect jobs and services was met. But one year on, it is all too clear that many workers and communities paid a high price. The Economics Book looks at different economic theories and economists, with a bit of world history thrown in. As a beginner in Economics, this book wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. It was kind of disorganized and didn't explain some concepts very well (they weren't as "simply explained" as the title claims)/5.

While it is an excellent book for beginners, who want to acquaint with TUC economic review. book and diverse economic theories, starting as it from the basic concepts of demand, supply and elasticities, which constitute the main pillars of any economic theory, and leading them step by step through various macroeconomic and microeconomic theories that help in /5(23).
